Happy Photography Month & Small Business Week!

Hello, fellow photography enthusiasts and small business owners!

My name is Maria, and I'm one of the directors at So Social. As you may already know, May is Photography Month, and from the 30th of April to the 6th of May is Small Business Week. So, we're here to celebrate both of these occasions with you all!

I've been passionate about photography ever since I was a little kid. In fact, my love for photography started when I was so young that I even managed to destroy my father's film by taking pictures of random things (lights, inside the fridge, fly on a wall). But that didn't stop me from exploring this wonderful world of photography.

As I grew older, I started using digital cameras, and when I turned 18, I purchased my first entry-level DSLR camera. Soon after, I upgraded to a more advanced one and started doing photography as a business. Initially, I started as a wedding photographer, capturing precious moments of people's special day. From there, I expanded into doing engagement shoots and covering various events.

Eventually, I decided to take things to the next level and opened my own studio. Here, I started doing newborn photography and cake smashes. There's something magical about capturing the innocence and cuteness of little babies, and the cake smashes are always so much fun!

Apart from doing photography as a business, I also have a passion for travel, food, and lifestyle. So, I decided to start my own travel blog, where I share my experiences through pictures and stories. And to make it even better, I've had the opportunity to collaborate with brands that I love - all because of my love for photography! It's amazing how this passion has opened doors for me and allowed me to work with incredible companies. I'm so happy that I'm able to combine my love for photography with my passion for traveling and sharing my experiences with others.

Recently, I've also started exploring product photography, and I'm so excited about the endless possibilities that it presents. I can't seem to stop buying props and experimenting with new ideas. It's such a fun and creative outlet, and I'm always learning new things. - Also, someone should stop me from buying new props all the time!

I'm also happy to bring my photography experience to So Social. As a marketing agency, we understand the importance of high-quality visuals in today's digital world. My experience in photography allows me to bring a unique perspective to our clients' visual content, and help them stand out in a crowded market.

As a small business owner, I know how challenging it can be to start and run a business. But with hard work, dedication, and a little bit of humor, we can overcome any obstacle. And speaking of humor, here's a joke for you all: Why did the photographer break up with his girlfriend? Because she was always posing!

In all seriousness, I'm so grateful to be a part of a wonderful community of small business owners and photography enthusiasts. Let's continue to support each other and celebrate our successes together.

Happy Small Business Week and Photography Month, everyone!
